Researchers test a new pill that could prevent Alzheimer's

Researchers at Northwestern University are beginning human trials on pill that could prevent Alzheimer’s, Multiple sclerosis and strokes.

It works by reducing inflammation believed to be partly responsible for a number of degenerative brain conditions as well damaged caused by injuries.

Its currently being tested on people who have suffered from concussions.

The study has been published in the “Journal of Neuroscience”
