CFIA expands warning to include additional product and distribution information on Grillhouse brand beef burgers

The original warning from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency on Feb. 22 about certain Grillhouse brand beef burgers has been expanded to include additional product and distribution information.
New Food Classics and the CFIA are warning people not to consume Grillhouse brand beef burgers because they may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7.
The Grillhouse brand beef burgers have been distributed nationally through restaurants and institutional establishments.

The manufacturer, New Food Classics, 1122 International Blvd., Suite 601, Burlington, Ont., has voluntarily recalled the affected product from the marketplace.
Food contaminated with E. coli may not look or smell spoiled, but consumption of food contaminated with these bacteria my cause serious and potentially life-threatening illnesses.
