McGuinty wants to make children's mental health a priority

TORONTO, Ont. – Ontario Liberal Leader Dalton McGuinty has promised his party will make mental health, especially children’s mental health, a priority.

The comment came during a campaign stop at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health on Queen Street West.

McGuinty promises to make it easier and faster for families to get help and service close to home and to place more mental health professionals in schools.

The other two party leaders, NDP Leader Andrea Horwath and Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak, are in Sudbury Friday, taking part in a debate on northern issues.
