Organizers move to fill empty seats at venues

Games organizers are planning to open up more tickets to the public at some venues as seats reserved for sponsors, athletes and the press go empty.
VANOC addressed the ticketing issue during its daily media briefing. According to Dave Cobb, the Pacific Coliseum, the site for figure skating and short-track speed skating, will be “tweaked” to open up more tickets for the public and to remove the blight of empty seats during competition.
