Aksel Lund Svindal takes first Olympic gold

Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal took his first Olympic gold medal in the men’s super-G on Friday, with a time of one minute, 30.34 seconds; Erik Guay was the fastest Canadian, finishing fifth with a time of 1:30.68.
