Winter’s icy grip hangs on

You’re going to want to bundle up before heading out this morning.

A stiff west wind and more flurries have sent the mercury plunging here in our region.  Snowsquall warnings remain up for areas north of Waterloo Region. The winds and squalls are leaving zero visibility in many parts of central Ontario.
In Gravenhurst and Bracebridge a snow storm has the O-P-P asking people to stay off the roads.
Police say up to — 50 centimetres — of snow in some areas has made travel hazardous.
Police have also closed some roads in southwestern Ontario and on the Bruce Peninsula because of dangerous conditions.
