A family home south of Baden lies in ruins, destroyed by an explosion and fire.
It happened at about 9 o'clock last night at 2515 Sandhills Road, just south of Highway 7/8.
The walls of the house, as well as furniture, and even children's toys, have all been turned to rubble radiating out in all directions from the centre of the home.
But there were no injuries as the homeowners and their children are currently away on vacation.
Fire crews remained on the scene overnight, and were still dousing hot spots around 6:00 a.m.
One firefighter tells 570 News a blown-out wall that fell across the large propane tank near the house actually shielded the tank from the heat of the fire and helped keep it safe.
The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall will have an investigator on the scene today, as a back-hoe starts to sift through and clear away the debris.
There is no estimate yet on the dollar value of the damage.
