Time to Say 'Thank You'

It's a chance to say thanks to our many sports volunteers.

Celebration 2010 is an awards program to honour unsung sporting heroes in Waterloo Region.

The awards will be presented this afternoon by local MPP's John Milloy, Leeanna Pendergast, and Elizabeth Witmer.

Pendergast tells 570 News many of the volunteers have put a lifetime into developing local talent.

Some of those who will be honoured have been helping out for 30 to 40 years.

At this afternoon's ceremony, 30 awards will be presented in the Subscriber's Lounge at the Kitchener Aud.
