Creative Enterprise Enabling Organization inaugural board of directors appointed

An inaugural board of directors has been appointed to the Prosperity Council of Waterloo Region's Task Force on Creative Enterprise.

The board's creation follows two key recommendations and will provide a wide range of services to the arts, culture and creative sectors.

The 20-member board's first task will be to recruit a C-E-O.

Roger Farwell will serve as the initial Chair of the Board.

He says all members are excited about exploring partnerships with arts and business communities.

The founding Board members are (in no particular order): Hilary Abel, Roger Farwell, Dave Mansell,
Michele Baumgarten, Jamie Grant, Bob Mavin, Jennifer Chivers-Wilson, Mark Jackson, Mike Murray,
Michael Duschenes, Jim King, Milena Protich, Tim Ellis, Carla Ladd, Dave Schnarr, Brett Emmerton, Phil LeConte, Lynne Short, Cheryl Ewing and Judy Major-Girardin.
