Renovations to the Kitchener Market are complete

The Kitchener Market has been renovated.  A brand new multi-level demonstration gourmet kitchen will feature cooking classes.

Market Manager, Diane Garrington told 570 News about the type of classes that will be available.

"Cooking with local chefs, to learning how to make baby food, we have a little farmers club that happens on Saturdays, so there's lots of things for everybody"

Garrington said they are trying to encourage people to come to the market more often than only on the weekend, and have been looking into hosting a Wednesday market.

The revitalized Kitchener Market opening ceremonies run  Saturday from 8:30 until 2:00 afternoon.
