The brother of a man charged with killing OPP Constable Vu Pham thinks allegations of marital infidelity may have sent his brother over the edge.

Alex Preston says he spoke to his 70-year-old brother Fred on Sunday, the day before Pham was killed near the community of Winthrop.

Fred Preston is facing charges of first degree murder and attempted murder.

He remains in a London hospital in critical condition.

Thousands of police officers are expected to attend
Constable Pham's funeral on Friday in Wingham.

Visitation will take place this afternoon and this evening.

The funeral will begin at 1-pm at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex.

A trust fund for Pham's three boys - Tyler, 12, Jordan, 10, and Joshua, 7 has been set up.

Donations can be made at all Scotiabank branches (Account # 410120217921).
