Damage significant following fire at a Guelph home

No injuries, but damage is extensive following an early morning fire in Guelph.
Fire officials says it broke out just after 12:00 a.m. at 28 Munroe Crescent and the lone person inside managed to get out safely.
The cause remains under investigation and no dollar figure has been attached to losses, although the fire department does say there was extensive fire damage confined to the basement furnace room.
There was also smoke damage throughout the house.
