Newly renovated Kitchener Market opens Saturday

The new look Kitchener Market swings its doors open to the public on Saturday.
The upper floor has been completely re-done and last night the media got a sneak peek at what customers can expect.
The whole idea, according to Market Manager Dianne Garrington, is to make the facility a seven days a week operation.
It features a multi-level cooking demonstration area where cooking classes will be offered.  
A month or so ago, some vendors were refusing to sign their new leases amid concerns over the wording, but that situation has been clarified and all vendors are back on board.
One vendor who loves the new look is Esselyne Bell. She tells 570 News she hopes it will translate into more business.
She admits it's been a struggle at times to stay afloat, but believes the changes will help transform the market.  
The new look also comes with a new slogan - "Every reason, Every season."  
The grand opening is Saturday from 8:30 until 2:00 p.m.
