A Cambridge man is facing charges after police say two people were struck by a vehicle in the Franklin and Can-Amera Parkway area.

Regional police say the pair were store employees who confronted a man about a suspected theft around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. They were hit when the man got into his vehicle and drove off. A 43-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police arrested a 49-year-old Cambridge man a short time later.
He's charged with several offences, including Dangerous Driving causing Bodily Harm, Assault with a Weapon, Failing to Remain and Theft Under $5,000.
