Sidney Crosby's missing Olympic equipment was misplaced and not stolen.

One of his gloves ended up in another player's bag.

The stick he used to win gold was accidentally put in a shipment bound for the IIHF Hall of Fame in Russia, but was intercepted in Toronto.

Crosby is also donating the $20,000 bonus he received for winning gold at the Vancouver Olympics to his foundation.

The Sidney Crosby Foundation provides financial support to local children's charities in his hometown of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.
