Get Hired!

Lutherwood is hosting its second annual job fair today.

It's being dubbed Get Hired! Its on from 2pm until 6pm this afternoon at the Aud.

Around 40 Waterloo Region employers will be on hand looking to fill various positions. The employers represent manufacturing, construction, transportation, financial services, call centre service, healthcare and social services. Job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes and be prepared to do an on-the-spot interview.

Spokesperson, Sherrie McDermid tells 570 news there will be long line-ups. They expect over a thousand people to attend.

Lutherwood will have employment advisors and counsellors available to answer questions about employment search support available in the community.
