Man's death not suspicious

Waterloo Regional Police are closing their investigation into the death of an elderly man in Kitchener.
 
The man's body was found in his Perkel Place home early Monday morning and his death had been considered suspicious.

Police now say an autopsy has confirmed the man died from an underlying medical condition.

The Regional Police Homicide Branch and the Coroner's Office assisted in the investigation.

Police say no further information on the case will be released.
