GRH declares outbreak over

Grand River Hospital has announced a gastro-intestinal outbreak is now over at it's K-W site.
 
Officials say no new cases have been reported for seven days and has lifted the outbreak.

It affected the progressive hemodialysis unit on the seventh floor of the hospital.

The hospital reminds visitors who are sick to stay home and not enter a hospital until they've been symptom-free for two days to help reduce the chance of passing an infection to seriously ill patients.
