Guelph Man arrested at U.S/Canadian Border
U.S. Customs and Border Protection Field Operations announced the arrest of a Canadian citizen who was found to be in possession of child pornography.
On January 26th, CBP Officers working at the Peace Bridge Buffalo, NY port of entry encountered 61-year-old Terence Keleher, a Canadian citizen from Guelph.
Keleher indicated that he was destined to visit a friend he met online, but was unable to provide any specific information about the friend or his destination. Due to his inability to provide specific travel information, Keleher was referred to secondary for further inspection.
During the secondary inspection, Keleher stated that he intended to stay in the United States until Monday and then return back to Canada. The secondary inspection revealed that Keleher was in possession of suspected child pornography.
Keleher was subsequently arrested by CBP and turned over to the custody of Homeland Security Investigation facign Federal charges for transportation of child pornography.
