Kitchener Mayor joins CTT on trade building mission

Kitchener Mayor, Carl Zehr, is representing the region on a Canada's Technology Triangle trade building mission to Brazil.

Zehr tells 570 News these trips help establish relationships between business people in other nations and the Region of Waterloo. "There are a number of companies in the Region of Waterloo that will be joining the trade mission and we'll be visiting four particular cities in Brazil," he says.

Those cities are Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Curitiba.

Zehr leaves today and will return on September 17th. The City of Kitchener will cover Zehrs expenses, as passed in a recent motion at council.
