When someone said "Go west young man", Blair added north to the west. His first full-time broadcasting job was with CJCD-FM In Yellowknife, NWT. When people complain it's cold here, Blair has to laugh, especially after experiencing -49 degrees Celsius. Some of the stories he's covered include 9-11, the Walkerton e-coli outbreak, the Kitchener Rangers run to the 2003 Memorial Cup in Quebec City, and the grand opening of Canada's first diamond mine. Blair has always been a fan of sport and is most passionate about hockey (Go Habs!). He's currently a coach the Waterloo Minor Hockey Association and has also volunteered with the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association. Other interests include music, playing guitar, movies, exercising, and golf (a few games in the 80's). Blair has been with 570 News since 1999.
