Joe can be heard co-anchoring all news afternoons on 570. His first gig in news radio was working election night, the night Brian Mulroney and the Conservative government came to power in Canada but his interest and passion for news and a good story began at a very young age. He has been with 570 NEWS since 1995 but the road to Kitchener radio traveled thru Guelph, Orangeville and Toronto first. He was part of the news team when it won RTNDA Murrow Award for the coverage of the Big Black out of 2003 and was especially proud of leading the news team when they won the 2007 Edward R. Murrow Award for "Best Newscast". When he’s not reading news Joe enjoys reading sheet music and playing trumpet, he loves a movie with a good script, watching NCAA football and spending time talking and laughing with his wife and two children.
