Hi everybody.

I'm Pete Travers, Program Director of 570 News.

As an information and pop culture junkie….it is a thrill to be the Program Director of such a great radio station as 570 News.

I graduated from Radio Broadcasting at Fanshawe college in 1985 and earned the production Award.

Along the way, my many radio stops have included 1050 CHUM Toronto (1985) CJCH / C100 Halifax (1985-1993), 1050 CHUM / CHUM FM  Toronto (1993-1999), The River 93.9 (CIDR) Windsor/Detroit (1999), Kool FM / Oldies 1090 here in Kitchener 2000-2008, The Bear CKQB Ottawa (2008-2009) and now--finally back in KW at 570 News.

My family consists of wife Rose...sons Jeremy and Benji and the world's most aloof cat Pepper.
We have always loved living here in Waterloo Region and we're thrilled to be back.

You can find me coaching minor league hockey, playing pick-up hockey with the FFF (fat fathers over forty) as well as riding my motorcycle or playing guitar.
