History Repeats Itself!
U.S President Harry S. Truman once said “the only thing new in this world is the history you don’t know about”. That is so true. Today it was announced that 3 men were in custody in connection with last months fire bombing of a Royal Bank in Ottawa. An “Anti-Establishment Group” claimed responsibility for the bombing and they promise further action at the G-20 and G-8 Summits. When I was going into grade 9 the term “Anti-Establishment” was used all the time in connection with Protests, Sit-in’s and Conflicts. It’s funny, 40 years later the term is “New” again. I just hope they don’t start using that other phrase from back then; “everyone over thirty is dirty”. History does repeat itself and the former U.S President was dead on right with what he said.
