This week’s Good Samaritan is Karen McCulloch, a Waterloo woman who has volunteered for 20 years with the Kitchener-Waterloo chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Canada (the last 8 as co-ordinator of the local CF Walk. Chapter co-ordinator, Sue House, tells 570 News, Karen is dedicated and devoted to the cause. “Passion and commitment to find a cure or control for cystic fibrosis. Karen is almost like a one-man marching band. She is commited on every level.”
Sue says Karen begins planning for the annual May walk in November, interspersed with commuting to and from Brampton to care for her elderly mother.
