Bosma’s disappearance and death captured national attention and all seats are filled at the banquet hall where a memorial service is being held today, with dozens more standing in the back.

The 32-year-old father failed to return on May 6 from a test drive of the truck he had posted for sale online. Police say his charred remains were later found on a farm belonging to the accused in the case, Dellen Millard.

Millard is charged with first-degree murder, forcible confinement and theft of a vehicle.

Last week, Bosma’s widow said her husband’s death has left her “broken” and missing a part of herself.

The 32-year-old, whose remains were found in Waterloo Region, was the focus of an intense week long search after he disappeared while taking two men for a test drive in his pickup truck.

The service, which will be carried on Rogers TV, begins at 11 this morning at Carmen’s Banquet Centre in Hamilton.

As for the investigation, Hamilton Police are disputing a report from the CBC that more remains have been found on a farm owned by Dellen Millard, who’s charged with first degree murder in the case.
