The divide between voters living in the suburbs and downtown dwellers was the subject of a debate on CBC’s The National Sunday night.
570’s Gary Doyle was one of two panelists discussing the belief that political power is now in the suburbs, on a segment hosted by Wendy Mesley.
Doyle says politicians are starting to pander to the suburbs to win votes.
He suggests suburbanites have typically felt their concerns have not been heard by government.
