Fentanyl, meth, weapons, stolen bikes seized in Guelph

Fentanyl, meth, a 12-gauge shotgun, and 41 bicycles – those are just some of the items seized through a major bust in Guelph.

The Guelph Police Drug Unit searched a home on Wednesday and turned up the major haul.

Suspected fentanyl and over $11,000 worth of crystal meth were discovered – and other items including ammunition, four replica firearms, and several high-end bikes were also seized.

Police say two people have been arrested, and face a handful of drug and weapon-related charges.

The 45-year-old man and 38-year-old woman will appear for a bail hearing on Thursday.
