Over $155K in drugs, vehicles seized in police investigation; five people facing 39 total charges

A three-month investigation involving Stratford Police and the OPP have resulted in charges for five people and drugs worth an estimated $155-thousand dollars off the street.

The investigation — titled “Project Ripped” — saw three search warrants executed in Stratford, Mitchell and Huron County.

Stratford Police say they seized over 11,000 grams of marijuana, 252 grams of cocaine, 31 grams of mushrooms, 27 grams of the cannabis concentrate “shatter” and 900 grams of hash. They also nabbed a “small amount of MDMA.”

Over $40,000 in Canadian currency was also located and seized.

On top of all thats, police were able to get two vehicles, drug packaging, scales, paraphernalia and marijuana edibles.

The property seized is valued at a combined $35,000.

39 combined charges were laid on five people between the ages of 25 and 32.

  • Dan Fuller, age 32 of Stratford
  • Amanda Meinen, age 25 of Stratford
  • Charlene Ellens, age 33 of Mitchell
  • Curtis Snell, age 30 of Varna
  • Marilyn Snell, age 30 of Varna

All five were released from custody and scheduled to appear in court in Stratford.
