Tens of thousands of fans pour into Bingemans as Ever After Music Festival kicks off

Tens of thousands of Eletronic Dance Music fans are pouring into Bingemans for the Ever After Music festival this weekend.

It gets underway on Friday, and Regional Police are asking motorists to avoid the Bingemans Centre Drive and Victoria Street area to help ease traffic congestion.

Two bylaws will be closely watched over the next couple of days. One of them restricts the festival from having sound over 55 decibels. The other restricts the festival from going later than 9 p.m., Sunday.

Last year over 40,000 people attended the festival at Bingemans.

Organizers of the electronic dance music festival are given a heads up to everyone who bought a ticket about what they are not allowed to bring.

Aside from the obvious — like no drugs or weapons — you can’t bring laser pointers or air horns.

Pets are not allowed — not even if they’re stuffed: no dolls allowed.

You can’t bring fireworks, liquid makeup, unsealed tampons — or massagers.

And if you bring cigarettes, the pack can not be open when you enter the festival.
