Two young males robbed behind elementary school in Kitchener: WRPS

Police are investigating after two young males were allegedly robbed while walking behind a local elementary school.

Regional Police say it happened Sunday morning, as the boys were on a trail behind Monsignor Haller Catholic Elementary School on Shea Crescent in Kitchener.

That’s when three suspects approached them, threw them down on the ground, and began punching and kicking them.

The assailants ended up stealing the youngters’ backpacks, and both victims suffered minor injuries.

The suspects got away before police arrived, and are described as black males, between five foot 10 and six feet tall.

Anyone with information is asked to call WRPS at 519-570-9777, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
