ATLANTA – A convention focused on gaming, animation, music and other art forms is expected to draw tens of thousands of people to downtown Atlanta.

MomoCon 2018 runs Thursday through Sunday at the Georgia World Congress Center and the nearby Omni Atlanta Hotel.

Organizers say 90,000 attendees are expected at the 14th MomoCon, a multi-genre convention for fans of music, costuming, comics, visual arts and voice acting.

Organizers have prepared a 180,000-square-foot (16,700 square meters) gaming floor, billed as the largest in the southeast United States. Another 150,000 square feet (14,000 square meters) of space will be for vendors, game developers and celebrity autographs.

An entertainment and media career fair that runs through 2 p.m. Thursday kicks off the convention.
