Pedestrian hit in Guelph, driver facing impaired driving charges

Guelph Police have charged a Georgetown man with impaired driving causing bodily harm after a pedestrian was struck over the weekend.
They say it happened Sunday after 9:30 p.m. at the Elizabeth and Duke Street intersection.
Police allege a driver was going at an excessive speed towards the intersection, went over a curb and struck a pedestrian trying to cross the road.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital in Hamilton with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
26-year old Zachary Seabourne faces three charges.
