Driver nabbed doing almost 180 km/h on Highway 8

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a man after he was going way too fast on Highway 8 on Wednesday morning.

Police say they clocked a white Mustang allegedly reaching a speed of 178 km/h in a 100 zone.

The vehicle and the man’s licence were both seized on the spot.

Police say the man was driving dangerously and it’s not worth the risk and that safety is the motorists responsibility.
