Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Katanga Mining Limited. (TSX:KAT). Miner. Down 88 cents, or 49.16 per cent, to 91 cents on 10.9 million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Up 26 cents, or 5.31 per cent, to $5.16 on 8.7 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up one cents, or 0.25 per cent, to $4.01 on 8.7 million shares.

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB). Healthcare. Down 59 cents, or 6.85 per cent, to $8.02 on 6.9 million shares.

Goldcorp Inc. (TSX:G). Miner. Down 16 cents, or 0.88 per cent, to $18.08 on 6.6 million shares.

Athabasca Oil Corp. (TSX:ATH). Oil and gas. Up 10 cents, or 6.71 per cent, to $1.59 on 5.8 million shares.

Maxar Technologies (TSX:MAXR). Technology. Down 26 cents, or 0.45 per cent, to $57.87 on 140,028 shares. The president of Canadarm-builder MDA says setting up the company’s parent firm in the United States won’t have any impact on jobs in Canada. In October 2017, MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates, based in Richmond, B.C., became Maxar Technologies Ltd. after it acquired DigitalGlobe, an American satellite imaging company. Maxar’s headquarters were in San Francisco before recently moving to Westminster, Colo.

MEG Energy Corp. (TSX:MEG). Oil and gas. Down two cents, or 0.31 per cent, to $6.49 on 1.8 million shares. The oilsands producer says co-founder Bill McCaffrey will be retiring from his role as CEO as well as from the board of directors following its annual general meeting on May 31. The Calgary-based company says director Harvey Doerr is to act as interim CEO while it searches for a permanent replacement.
