Highway 8 EB on-ramp to 401 EB reopens

Good news for motorists! The eastbound Highway 8 on-ramp to the eastbound 401 is reopen.
One lane on Highway 8 closed late Friday night, followed by the full closure of the eastbound ramp to the 401 overnight.
It was shut down as part of the ongoing widening of the 401 to 10 lanes between Highway 8 and Hespeler Road.
The ramp reopened to a single lane of traffic shortly before 6:30 a.m., Saturday.
