Wellington County OPP want to know if you recognize a fraudster after a pair of incidents in Fergus.
They say a man entered two businesses on Tuesday and paid for items with false credit card numbers. The transactions were ultimately declined, and the store owners were left empty-handed.
Luckily, surveillance video caught the suspect – and OPP have released photos of the man and his vehicle.
Thanks to eye witness reports – they also have a description. The suspect is white, believed to be about 25-years-old, around 5’11, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a fur-collared black parka, dark red RVCA ball cap, and white sunglasses.
His vehicle is described as a dark hunter green Mazda Protege with after-market rims, possibly an early 2000s model.
Anyone with information can contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
