Four men are now facing criminal charges after a single vehicle crash on the 401 eastbound in Cambridge.
OPP say Sunday morning just after 5:00 a.m., they were called to the crash and were advised the vehicle was trying to leave the scene.
Police say they got there in time, and found alcohol and marijuana inside the damaged vehicle, along with four people.
The driver, a 23-year old from Burlington, was charged with impaired driving, Drive Over 80, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, novice driver blood alcohol level above zero, and driving with open liquor.
The other three — a 22-year old from Oakville, a 20-year old from Mississauga and a 20-year old from Burlington — each face a charge of trafficking marijuana.
The Oakville man was also charged with breaching probation.
They’re all scheduled to appear in a Kitchener courtroom next month.
