Kitchener has three more regular season games left to go.
The East Avenue Blue are in Guelph on Tuesday to face the Storm for the second last time in the regular season. 570 NEWS has the pre-game show at 6:35 p.m.
Kitchener is 5 and 1 against Guelph to this point. The last meeting between the Highway 7 rivals will happen on Friday night at The Aud.
This still has the potential to be a first round playoff series, but as it stands now, Kitchener would face Saginaw and Guelph would get the Soo Greyhounds.
Two Rangers are also close to 30 goals heading into the final three games of the regular season.
Kole Sherwood needs just one, while captain Connor Bunnaman is three away from 30.
Meantime, tickets for Kitchener’s first two home playoff games went on sale on Monday.
