Manpower’s latest Employment Outlook Survey forecasts a solid hiring climate locally during the second quarter of 2018.
The survey of area employers finds 35 per cent plan to hire more staff during the April to June quarter.
Only two per cent suspect they’ll need to cut back, while 60 per cent expect to maintain the status quo.
Compared to the same quarter last year, positive hiring intentions are up 9 per cent.
Nationally, Manpower expects to see steady gains for Canadian job seekers.
