Culina named goalie of the month, Rangers host Hamilton Friday

Mario Culina has been super with the Kitchener Rangers.
The 20-year-old was named OHL Goaltender of the Month for January on Thursday afternoon. Culina is a perfect 6 and 0 since joining the East Avenue Blue.
That included back-to-back shutouts against the IceDogs on January 17th and then the Otters on the 19th.
The Rangers will look to extend their winning streak to seven games on Friday when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs at the Kitchener Auditorium. 570 NEWS has the pre-game show at 7 p.m.
Hamilton is fresh off a victory over the Petes on Thursday.
The Rangers and Bulldogs will then wrap up their season series in Steeltown next Saturday.
