80-year-old driver injured after hit and run in Kitchener

Regional Police are searching for a dark coloured vehicle after a hit and run in Kitchener Wednesday night.

They say it happened just before 8 p.m. on Ottawa Street South.

A dark coloured car allegedly struck an incoming Honda – sending it into a hydro pole, and the 80-year-old female driver to the hospital.

The Waterloo woman’s injuries are said to be minor, and the suspect vehicle left the scene.

The car is described as possibly being an Audi or Acura.
