Man airlifted to a hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police say the intersection at Green Valley Drive and Pioneer Drive in Kitchener is closed after a major crash.

Police say a 38-year-old man has been airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon.

Police are asking everyone to avoid that area while they investigate.
