Cambridge man caught driving with pile of pot on centre console

A bit of an obvious bust for Regional Police, as a driver in Cambridge has been charged for having a pile of pot sitting in their car.

Officers pulled over a vehicle on Chalmers Street around 4:15 p.m. Thursday, and immediately noticed the strong scent of marijuana while speaking with the driver.

They found out where the smell was coming from when they looked inside – as a quantity of pot was allegedly sitting clear-as-day on top of the centre console.

Digital scales, cash, and other cannabis products were also seized through a search.

A 24-year-old Cambridge man faces charges including possession and trafficking.
