Weather advisory in effect for Waterloo Region and surrounding areas

Environment Canada has issued a weather advisory for Waterloo Region and Wellington County, warning of the potential for some brief but heavy snow squalls.
The weather authority says snow squalls off lake Huron will cross our Region before sunset, and combined with gusty winds this afternoon, will result in poor driving conditions.
Visibility will be reduced and roads will be slippery.
