A brave homeowner and a fast-thinking neighbour helped police track down a break and enter suspect in Kitchener.
Regional Police say a man broke into two homes on Union Street on November 10.
One of the homeowners was inside at the time, and ended up confronting the suspect.
He took off and hopped in a vehicle, but a neighbour saw it all happen, and snapped a picture of the car as it sped away.
Through an investigation, officers arrested a 34-year-old Kitchener man on Thursday.
Police say he’s been charged with two counts of break and enter with intent.
