50-year-old Brant County man faces first degree murder charge

OPP say an arrest has been made in connection with a homicide investigation in The County of Brant.

It comes after 69-year-old Robert Waite was found dead at Diamond Towing back on March 1.

Through a post-mortem examination, it was determined that his death was the result of a homicide.

Officers arrested 50-year-old James Christopher Bamsey of Brant County on Wednesday.

He faces a charge of first degree murder, and is set to appear in Brantford court at a later date.
