Wintry weather is sweeping across parts of southern Ontario.
But, Environment Canada lifted a weather and winter travel advisory for Waterloo Region, Guelph and southern Wellington County on Friday morning.
Areas to the north could receive up to 10 centimetres of snow, as squalls from Lake Huron and Georgian Bay drift down into these areas.
Environment Canada warns this will result in slippery road conditions and poor visibility in some cases.
Closer to Huron and Georgian Bay, snow squall warnings and watches are in effect, with even higher amounts of snowfall expected.
