Driver airlifted to hospital after crash in Mapleton

One person has been airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Mapleton.

Wellington County OPP say the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on Wellington Road 10, just south of Moorefield.

The single-vehicle crash involves a cement mixer.

Police say the road is closed between Concession 5 and Selinger Road for the investigation.

No word when it’s expected to reopen.
