Wynne speaks in Kitchener, announces next step for High Speed Rail

Kathleen Wynne told the KW Chamber of Commerce luncheon today her government is establishing an HSR Planning Advisory Board.
This board will provide strategic support for the project, and engage with the private sector, stakeholders and Indigenous communities.
Members of the board will be brought in from high-tech sectors, and from engineering, environmental sciences and transportation planning.
A statement from the Wynne government says they will “include the best and brightest in these fields from across Ontario and Canada.”
Later this afternoon, Wynne will participate in a round table discussion with members of a local Muslim community at Kitchener City Hall.
The premier is also scheduled to be a guest on 570’s Mike Farwell Show Tuesday morning at 11.
